Pengaruh Penggunaan Gadget Terhadap Perilaku Sosial Siswa MTS Al Washliyah 16 Perbaungan

Abstract

The objective of this research was to determine the Effect of Gadget Use on Students’ Social Behavior at Mts Al Washliyah 16 Perbaungan. This research was a quantitative research using a causal comparative design. The population in this research was all students of class VIII at Mts Al Washliyah 16 Perbaungan totaling 290 students. The sample of this research was 58 students. The results of the research concluded that there was no significant effect between Gadget use on social behavior at MTs Al Washliyah 16 Perbaungan. The results of the product moment correlation calculation showed that the correlation coefficient between Gadget use (X) and social behavior (Y) was r observed = -0.098 and r table at a significance level of 5% was 0.312. R observed < R table was (-0.098 < 0.312). Looking at the calculation results above, it can be concluded that there was no effect between the variable (X) of Gadget use and the variable (Y) of social behavior is not influential.
